FALSE ANEURYSMS

False Aneurysm of Popliteal Artery

This 8 year old boy had a swollen right calf and non-healing ulcer on the medial aspect of his leg for some months. (It was only after surgery that we were able to obtain the history of a penetrating injury as the initiating event.) The mass was not pulsatile and distal pulses were normal.
