Qualitative data will be collected from periodic surveys and spontaneous feedback from the participants and may be used during the course of the study to modify the website and make it more helpful. Feedback on the most useful forms of information will be sought assiduously.
There will be an ongoing evaluation of the platform using information and ideas gleaned both from period surveys and from feedback obtained from the website.
The initial phase will involve analyzing the responses to the initial surveys and incorporating elements in the Ptolemy platform that address issues that emerge from the surveys.

Quantitative data will provide an index of the relative utility of various resources. As relatively little is presently known about the usage patterns and information needs of colleagues in the developing world, this will provide valuable information for developing policies to help bridge the "digital divide".
